Dr. Helge Neuner studied Electrical Engineering and completed his studies with a PhD in Engineering at the University of Braunschweig, Germany. He began his professional career at Volkswagen in 2002. He worked in a number of different positions in Electrics and Electronics development division of Volkswagen brand and from 2008 in Volkswagen Group Research. He held leading positions and was responsible for Information Architecture and Human Machine Interaction. Since 2017 Helge Neuner has been the Head of Automated Driving at Volkswagen Group Research, and since 2021 the Head of Self Driving System Development at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
